About The Author

Jon Bowers was born on December 7th, 1942, in Eugene, Oregon. He married his high school sweetheart in 1963. They have three children, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Jon graduated from Southern Oregon University with a Masters of Science degree in 1970 and then taught for three years in the public school district in Eugene, Oregon. In 1976 Jon was ordained at Faith Center Church in Eugene and later founded and pastored Christ’s Center Church in Junction City, Oregon, for 36 years.
